Puteri Umno will organise courses for members on how to write blogs, so that members from all levels will be equipped with such knowledge to counter any criticism levelled by the opposition.
Puteri Umno vice president Shahanim Mohamad Yusoff said the members should be savvy in the field of blog writing because the internet has become an important medium and tool for the opposition to criticise Umno.
"To be prepared for the next general election, Puteri Umno members must be equipped with knowledge on how to write blogs," she told reporters after presenting certificates to 130 Puteri Umno members from Sungai Petani who attended a course on how to write blogs, here on Monday.
The course was organised by the Sungai Petani Puteri Umno division and Malay Journalists and Writers National Organization Malaysia (PKWPM), Kedah branch.
